Carrying out hydraulic engineering tests in the hydraulic engineering research laboratory |
|
The module includes the preparation, the conception for the investigation of detailed aspects, the setup, the operation and the evaluation of different hydraulic engineering tests. Likewise, the module focuses on the assessment of the trustworthiness of the measurements carried out and the evaluation of the results. |
The experiments deal with selected topics from hydraulic engineering and hydraulics, including pipe and channel hydraulics, hydropower, energy conversion and stilling basins, wells, weir overtopping, weir jumping, etc. The emphasis is on practical application of undergraduate course content and in-depth examination of selected topics. |
