Short description
On behalf of the civil engineering department of the Lahn-Dill district committee, the Chair of Hydraulic engineering predicted the impoundment resulting from the installation of heat exchanger elements in the Hüttengraben near Dillenburg on the basis of empirical calculation approaches and assessed the effects on the discharge volume in the Hüttengraben and thus on the available drive water volume for the hydropower plant located in the ditch. For this purpose, system-relevant sections were surveyed and a one-dimensional hydraulic discharge-water level model was created.
