In the development of an innovative modular heat exchanger (HeatEnergyExchanger), The Chair for Hydraulic Engineeringis working closely with the plastic pipe system manufacturer FRANK. The novel system enables the technical use of regenerative heat and kinetic energy from flowing waters. The research work is supported by the BMWi's “Central Innovation Program for SMEs” funding program.
