By public transport
The TU Lichtwiese campus can be reached by public transport via the bus stop TU Lichtwiese/Mensa and via the train station of the Odenwaldbahn (VIAS) Darmstadt TU Lichtwiese Bahnhof.
- From Darmstadt main station
Take bus tram line 2 or bus L towards TU Lichtwiese to the final stop at TU Lichtwiese/Campus (on Saturday and Sunday the final stop of tram line 2 is Merck-Stadion) The trip takes approximately 17 minutes. - From Frankfurt main station
Every two hours, respectively at each hour in the afternoon and early evening RB 82 (Odenwaldbahn) travels directly from Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof to Darmstadt TU-Lichtwiese station in approximately 25 minutes.

By car
Coming from the Darmstadt freeway junction, follow Rheinstraße/B26 along the signs for Darmstadt/Stadtmitte into the City-Ring tunnel.
In the City-Ring tunnel, take the left exit and at the end of Hügelstraße turn half-right at the traffic lights onto Nieder-Ramstädter Straße. Follow the road for about 1 km, turn left into Heinrichstraße and follow the signs TU-Lichtwiese.
Parking: Parking is available on campus. There is a parking fee of 2.50 euros per day at the parking ticket machine.
